New Pic

Hi all

Melissa inspired me to get my act together and post a new pic - it's not full length but my before pic isn't either so it is a good comparison.

Check it out - I think you will see a bit of a difference!   

I'm now 10 months out from surgery and down 124 lbs and 18 inches in my waist!  Amazing!  My total weight loss since I first saw Dr. Garrison is 164 lbs!   

As some of you know, I just got back from a 15 day vacation in Alaska and it was wonderful!  The vacation itself was great but there were also a couple of WOW MOMENTS!

*  I was actually comfortable on the planes!!
*  I was able to walk when & where I wanted without major pain
*  I didn't even care about those darn photographers on the cruise taking pics! 
   (In fact, I actually enjoyed seeing good pics of me - LOL)
* I didn't feel self conscience meeting and talking to people

It truly was the first vacation in years where I really relaxed & enjoyed 100% of the time! 

COOL HUH???

I know what you mean about taking pictures. I have an affair to go to Saturday. I bought a dress to wear..somthing I have NEVER done before. The people who are going to be there haven't seen me since before surgery. I have lost 24 pounds but it makes a huge difference. So I can not wait to go. I will take plenty of pictures so everyone can see!

But enough about me.....you look fantasti****ep up the great work.

You look amazing and you look like you had a fabulous time!!!!

How was the cruise not being able to "over indulge"???  Curious.....hmmmmm?

hi danielle , wow your doing great ! i had my surgury june27th 08 , got 4cc on my 1st fill aug 7th  to date lost 30 pound i go back sept 17th      my mother is getting the band tomorrow with doc scmidts also omg i love him he is great n omg sooooo cute , bren-

OMG!  You look like a different person. Your vacation sounds so great, and how you felt physically and emotionaly is wonderful. Thanks for sharing.  It gives us newbies hope.

I just loved that sweater too - but I can't take credit for it LOL  It happened to be one of the items that I got from someone on this board.    I was in need of a few long sleeved items that fit and Mary had just returned from Alaska and was willing to share!  Thanks again Mary!

As for eating on the cruise, I have to admit I wasn't 100% good but I did alot of extra walking that must have made up for it because I came home 10lbs lighter!  **YEAH**   I did think twice about everything I ate though - it kept me in check!
