Reminder - Toms River OCWLS Meeting - Friday, Sept 5th

Just a reminder that our next regularly scheduled Toms River OCWLS Meeting is set for this Friday, September 5th at 7pm at Community Medical Center in Toms River.

Following are details on our meetings set for the balance of 2008.

Ocean County Weight Loss Surgery (OCWLS) - Bariatric Surgery Support Group  -- Two Locations

 

Toms River:  Meets First Friday of Each Month 7-9 p.m.

The Ocean County Weight Loss Surgery (OCWLS) Support Group is a peer-to-peer group which is open to individuals who have undergone various types of weight loss surgery, or to those who are anticipating or planning this kind of lifestyle change.  Supportive family members and friends are also welcome.

 

Our group members have had their surgeries performed by various WLS surgeons and hospitals, and we are not affiliated with any specific WLS surgeon or hospital.

Hey...
I actually was able to attend the meeting last month... and there was a whopping 6 people in attendance!

And, of course, tonight is no good for me, as I will be leaving tomorrow on a trip to Delaware to participate in another Half-IronMan race. My off-season starts on September 22nd... So I see no reason not to be able to get back in the groove, since I'll finally have a little more time on my hands!

That number is certainly an all time low for our group -- however, it might have had something to do with 'my absence' (LOL) as well as the accident on the GSP -- add to that normal summer Friday traffic, etc., etc., etc.,

Well - I'm back and I'm gonna think you're avoiding me!  Are you going to be able to make the BoardWalk against Obesity on Sunday, September 21?  I'm counting on you and your girls to lead us off!

See in my original post where I say my off season starts on Sept 22nd?

That's because my final race of the year is on Sept 21st.

This whole "triathlon" thing is really screwing with my social life!
