I had my surgery two weeks ago and about 4 days ago I went for a long walk because I was feeling good.  Ever since then I'm having serious pain in my left side.  It comes when I stand, move too quickly or turn.  It's a sharp shooting pain that turns to a horrible burn.

Today it has moved a bit more to my back, in the kidney area.  And it's a constant pain today.  With an extra dose if I move.  FUN!!

Is anyone else experiencing this???

Also, what are/were you eating at 2 weeks out?

Kaylene,
Maybe you should check with your surgeon.

check with your surgeon!  I had more soreness on the left side, lowest incision but not a burning pain that moved!
At two weeks I was eating soupy oatmeal, cream of wheat, skim plus milk, strained creamed soups, yogurt, and of course the horrible protien shakes.
Hope you are feeling better.

I get a pain on my left side by my port when I do too much but its more of a cramping. I agree with everyone else..talk to your surgeron.

2 weeks out the doctor told me to go to soft solids. But right before that I was eating soupy oatmeal, pureed Spaghetti-o's...which I wasn't really supposed to be eating...but shhhhhh...LOL.....pureed vegetable soup. I could tolerate the artificial sweeteners in diet jello and puddings so I skipped them.
