OT Atlantic City ?

Sorry to bother all of you with a non WLS question, but hubby and I are thinking of coming to AC in October, we have narrowed it down to the Borgota which I love just wi**** was on the Boardwalk, or hubby likes Caesars. Anybody have a good recommendation? Any info would be greatly appreciated! thank you in advance

We go to the Borgota.  And there is a hamburger place in the food court area that serves a good chili! 

Borgota is my all time favorite, but I love Harrahs now too, since they opened the new pool (you have to be 18 years old to use it-so there are no kids in there) and the new tower near the pool.  I agree, I do miss the boardwalk, but you can pay $2 each way and take the jitney down there to shop at Caesar's Pier or the Walk (the outlets downtown).

Hello Nannette, Connie and Jacki!

I am here.  I am always around, haven't moved or done anything too radical, just working that "job" and trying to juggle 2 high school kids and a college bound one... these teens are hard!  Damn.  They are all good, good health and not bad kids, just a handful.  I don't know how anyone does this, working outside the home and keeping the home together, I don't juggle all of this too well..... sometimes it's more frustrating than others.  Summer has been hard, I have never had to work (outside the home) and run a family.  Then throw SUMMER in the mix, and kids being home from school for 10 weeks.. and YIKES.... it's a lot to get used to.  I have almost made it though, they go back to school in less than 3 weeks now.  At least I will know where they are for about 7 hours each day, and they won't be at home doing things I know NOTHING about while I am at work.

Otherwise, all is good.  I will be back.  I will be back at Lakewood on Monday.  I just need to commit and I will make it happen, even if I am dog tired and a bit bleary eyed, Monday is my long day at work, I do 9 hours.  But I only work in Wall, no commute really, I will be there Monday!

Connie, I miss you and John, how is Florida?  Are you missing NJ at all?  lol.....

Even though I now live in sunny FL I do read the NJ board and whenever we are back in NJ I try and make a meeting.  However, its been so long since I have seen you or your postings.  Hope everyone is okay and I know you are missed at the meetings.  Hopefully I will see you in December when we return to NY/NJ for the holiday market at Bryant Park.

AC is my fave!  I'm actually going this Thursday!  I stay in Showboat or Ballys b/c that's where I get free rooms.  If you want to walk on the boardwalk and go visit different casinos, stay at Cesears.  If you are not up for walking on the boardwalk, stay at Borgata.  They are both beautiful, just Borgata is newer.  Of course, you can stay at the Borgata and go to the boardwalk, but you'd have to drive, as the Borgata, Harrahs and Trump Marina are off the "strip."
