Calling all Dr Abkin and Bertha patients

Hi All
I was banded in 9/05 and lost my band due to erosion and will now have RNY on 8/08

can you tell me if you had a mandatory hopital stay?

I am a soon to be patient and Im almost positive that they said usually 2-3 days for RNY in their seminar....

No advice on the RNY.  Just wanted to say sorry your band eroded.  Ouch!

I had Lap RNY with Dr Pupkova she used to be with Bertha & Abkin,I had to spend 2 nights in the hospital.Best of luck to you

Dr Abkins was my doctor,only stayed 2 days,he is the greatest and quite handsome.Need me email me anytime.Sorry for what happen with the band,Sure didnot know that can happen.

HI I HAD RNY WITH DR BERTHA AND THERE IS A 2 NIGHT STAY.

Set for RNY this monday at Hackensack!  My Dr. says it is a 2-3 night stay.....

Two of my sisters used the Abkin...  almost 4 years post op and both are doing great.  They had a great experience.  (Didn't accept my insurance or I would have used him also.)  Just wanted to wish you luck!!

I am a RNY patient of Dr. Bertha.  LOVE the man!    I had my surgery on 7/23 and stayed two nights at Morristown Memorial.  How did your surgery go?
