support group in south jersey

Hello Everyone! I am 18 months post op. I am looking for a support group in the south jersey area. Anyone know of one... am willing to travel 1/2 or so. Thanks Dianna

Pennsylvania hosptial has a support group the last Tuesday of every month.  Once the chaos of the pre-pre-pre ops gets settled alot of good information gets discussed.

I also think that Barix up in Langhorne, PA has open support meetings and from what I read they sound wonderful.  The people on the PA board from Barix are very supportive of all.

There isa group that meets in Sewell at the County Board of Ed.  I'm going tonight for the first time.

I don't really know where your town is but there is a support group in Toms River @ St Barnabas Hospital on Rt 37.  The meetings are the first Friday every month.  Its a good group of people.  I am 17 days out from my lapband surgery.  I attend the meetings every month.   Hope to see a new face there. I go to the one in Sewell and love the people there.  There are a couple of people in our area - I'm in Bellmawr, and Barry is in Mt. Ephraim, so it's not too far.  It takes me about 20 minutes to get to the meetings.  They are every other Wednesday at 7 PM.
