OT-Yankees Tickets 8-27-2008

Hi all...I'm on the hunt....I have been so sick and not myself lately that I never stopped to think about my Fiance....I know that sounds horrid just horrid...his one true love..Other than me..lol..is the NY Yankees...I swear the man lives and breaths by them....The one thing I wanted to do sooooo special for him was get him tickets for the game that day..He has been such a rock for me, standing by thru some really really horrible times..and I screwed up on that!! Now...they are sold out, of any tickets I can afford anyway... So my point does ANYONE I MEAN ANYONE have tickets for that game that they wont be using, or know of anyone that has a set? I'm Begging and pleading and that usually doesn't happen. I just want this day to be sooo special for him and I'm not sure where else to turn. PM me if needed...... Christine

i can feel your pain  i am a red sox fan -- i wanted tix to the sox/phillies series --BUT the phillies decided to not play nice anymore and demanded that in order to get 1 game you had to purchase a 6 game mini package -- i was NOT going to purchase 5 extra phillie games -- i did end up getting the wednesday afternoon game -- sat up so high i was talking to Ted Williams!! but i was there :)  keep asking!! i'm sure you will find someone who has a friend who has season tix or something -- are you looking for tix in yankee stadium??? is there another game you can get tix for?? i just looked at the schedule -- they are playing the sox that night!! you NEED to purchase those tix as soon as tix go on sale in january!! even looking at a scalper is going to cost you in the $500-$1,000 range for bad seats! and it also depends on who's in first place at the end of august -- or what happens the game before that night -- that could jack the price up to the $2,500 range -- mental note to self, always purchase sox/yanks tix in january -- good luck but i don't really think you are going to touch any tix  roberta

Go to Stubhub.com, or AdmitOne.com.  They are ticket re-sellers.  Cost may not be cheap, but it also depends on where you want to sit. Ilisa
