RI Board member needs a hotel in Cape May

Hello All, My niece is Graduating from Basic Training at Cape May on Aug. 1st and we need a hotel room for the weekend.  Any suggestions on where we can stay that is resonable.  I have been searching but they are so pricey and the Military base is already out of rooms.  We dont mind staying slightly out of town, but not too far.  Atlantic City was like an hour away and that would be a waist of time driving back and forth. no doubt that will be an expensive time for that area of the shore..  Have you checked Hotels.com or Expedia.com. and if you are AAA member check with them too..

There is a little motel. called Jersey Cape.  It is at the end of the New Jersey Parkway in cape may. It is an old motel, but very clean. A lady owns it and runs it. Well, she did when we stayed there.  Have a new pool too.  My mother had a camper trailer right behind this motel and we stayed there with the kids.  Check it out.
