Dr. Jean-Baptiste lap to RNY conversion people

OK, I am getting ready to have removal of lap band and revision to RNY this Monday at Muhlenberg Regional medical center with Dr. JB -- I know there are about 15 others out there who have had this done.  How did it go?  How are you doing?  Is there anything I should know to help before/after surgery? hi Michele, I see that no one posted a reply,  but I would like to know how it went and how you feel and how you are doing.  I went to Dr. JB for a fill (about a year and a half ago) after returning to my surgeon for a fill and being treated like cattle by his associate.  Dr. JB was extremely nice and after about an hour of poking finally was able to complete a fill, but I was the most miserable person in the world afterwards because I couldn't eat!!!  I just never went back ANYWHERE and gained back more than half what I lost without any fills in the last year and a half (about 18-20 lbs). Do you think I should return to Dr. JB?  I am embarrassed because his efforts (and they were diligent) were in vain. Sincerely, June
