Reminder - Lakewood OCWLS Meeting - Monday, June 16th

Just a quick reminder that the next regularly scheduled Lakewood OCWLS meeting will be on Monday, June 16th at 7pm - Kimball Medical's Center for Healthy Living, 198 Prospect Street - house at the back of the hospital parking lot. This is a peer to peer support group which is open to all individuals who have undergone or are considering going thru any form of weight loss surgery. Supportive family and / or friends are also welcome to attend our meetings.  Our group members have had their surgeries performed by various WLS surgeons and hospitals, and we are not affiliated with any specific WLS surgeon or hospital. Pre-registration is NOT required. We hope to see many old and many new faces there.  Also, just a quick heads up so you can mark your calendars - the Toms River OCWLS July meeting has been pushed back to Friday, July 11th due to the Independce Day Holiday.  Mark your calendars and plan on being there. Hey Angel -- we hold two meetings per month -- one on the first Friday of each month in Toms River -- this meeting is quite large and well attended, and the second meeting is the third Monday of each month in Lakewood -- a smaller, newer group.  Some people attend both, but usually people have their preferences! Nanette, I am hoping to have surgery in Sept/Oct of this year.  Still in the process of completing my medical clearance tests.  My surgeon is at the university of Penn in philly which makes it difficult to go to their support groups.  I am from manahawkin.  Where are the Toms River meetings held? Hi Lisa -- sorry it took me so long to respond -- I just saw your post today! The Toms River meetings are the first Friday of each month at Community Medical Center, Aud A at 7pm.  Due to the holiday, our July meeting is July 11th.  Hope to see you then. Nannette
