I recently underwent surgery with Dr. Washington at Freehold Hospital. He and all of the other doctors and staff were extremely friendly and knowledgable.

Hi Khrisandra, Welcome to the NJ Board!!!  Did you call your Insurance company and ask them for a list of surgeons?  Also what Insurance do you have?  Once you tell me what Insurance you have, I will see if my surgeon takes that Insurance.  Let me know?

Khrisandra, Welcome to the boards.  I had RYN with Dr Noyan.  He has an office in Hamilton (Trenton) and I believe he still has an office in Freehold.  Good Luck  - Jennifer

HI, I went to Dr. Ajay Goyal in Union, NJ.  908-378-1779.  Had a LapRNY and felt very comfortable with him and his staff.  Also, Overlook Hospital in Summit.  I'm an RN, very particular about my healthcare and did lots of research before choosing Dr. G.  Best of luck to you. Andrea

Wow i didn't expect so many replies back. Okay so I did some searching earlier today (Tuesday June 11th), but I only found one surgeon that didn't do out of network payment. My mother sent me the link to a surgeon that requires a referral from my primary doctor.

So, at this point in time thats what I'm working on. The new surgeon is located in Saint Barnabas (sp??).Any advice??

hi there! it might be your insurance company that requires referrals rather than that particular surgeon, which is totally easily resolved as long as your primary care doctor is quick like that. :) i saw dr. washington in freehold for my original surgery as well as my revision last month. he's wonderful and i love him as well as the staff there. :) best of luck to you!

Check out Dr. Fares at St Francis in Trenton.  He's easy to get to from I-195 and a great doc. Robin in Ewing
