Hello,  This is for all patients of Dr Vaimakis: How is she with FILLS? 1) Does she do them under flouro? 2) Does she hit the port the 1st time? 3) How is her technique? ( is she "smooth" or does she seem to have difficulty? ) Any other info? I am looking for a Dr to do fills, since I just moved to NJ. ( my surgeon is awesome, but is way back in Indiana!  :( Thanks for any feedback! Jennie  >^..^<

I'll be able to answer this in a couple weeks...when I go for my first fill.  But I hope someone else can answer before then.  I'm kind of curious myself!

Dr. Ibriham at Englewood is awsome! They take all insurance and his partner Dr. Strang is great . ! Dr. Ibriham used to be with Dr. Vaimakis.

I am new also and Dr. Vaimakis seems to know what she is talking about. Sandra is always available to speak with you too. I don't know about the refills because I am still awaiting for approval. Does anyone else have any information on nj direct 15

Well, I didn't get a fill, but I got an UNfill yesterday (the little bit that had been put in during surgery).  Dr. Vaimakis sprayed some numbing stuff on the area, then injected something to numb the area even more, and then stuck the needle in-hitting the port the first time.  No pain, just the sensation of pressure.  It was fast, and she didn't seem to have any difficulty.  I'm not nervous at all now for when I go to get a fill (July 14th hopefully).  Had to get unfilled because of pain in the abdomen.  Kind of a let down, but that's a totally different topic!
