Another bandster in my area!!  Real close as a matter of fact!!!!  Good luck to you on your surgery!!  I'm almost on year out (hard to believe!).  It's the best thing I ever did!   If you need anything - just ask!  If you need a great support group - I attend one you might be interested in!  Let me know. I am also in Central Jersey and was banded on April 16th.  I am looking for a good support group.  The one at CentreState hospital in Freehold - charges  $200.00 to belong IF you did not have your surgery there....good luck to you............karen in marlboro

Hi Karen. I go every Tuesday to a group in Bound Brook (Just got home a little while ago in fact) at the BB Presbyterian Church on Mountain Ave and Rt 28.  The same group also meets on Saturday morning in Keyport.  I'm not sure which would be closer for you.  There is no fee to join the group but they do pass the bag to help with expenses (the venue, insurance, etc).   Let me know if you want any more info!  This group has saved my life!  I hope you can come to a meeting.   Talk to you soon!
