Vertical Sleeve Procedure

Does anyone know which MD's are experienced with the VSG procedure in New Jersey? I would be self pay so I would also be interested in knowing about what the procedure would cost for self-pay/cash patients.

My doc is in Manhattan, has a lot of experience ,works out of a good hospital and charges $22K for the sleeve.  I got a quote from Central Jersey Bariatrics in Freehold and their self-pay price was over $30K. Leah

Endo Associates in Freehold does the VSG. All 3 doctors are experienced in it. I had mine done 10 weeks ago and I feel great. Dr. Sadek did my procedure.

I was also self pay. Its going to run you close to $20,000. However, many people have had great experiences going to Mexico for the surgery where it costs under $10,000 so you may want to research that too. HTH

i am in the process of getting things set up for MX. I knew NJ was going to be cost prohibitive but just to "quiet" family saying why don't I do it in NJ though I would ask. I was actually scheduled for MX last weekend but the bank screwed up the money and I ended up having to cancel the day of surgery. I was NOT amused.
