Ocean County Weight Loss Support Group Meeting - Toms River - Friday 6/6

Hello All: We will be having our regular Ocean Count Weight Loss Surgery Support Group Meeting this Next Friday June 6th at 7pm at Community Medical Center, Auditorium A, Hospital Drive & Route 37 West in Toms River, NJ. (OCWLS). This is a peer to peer support group which is open to all individuals who have undergone or are considering going thru any form of weight loss surgery. Supportive family and / or friends are also welcome to attend our meetings.  Our group members have had their surgeries performed by various WLS surgeons and hospitals, and we are not affiliated with any specific WLS surgeon or hospital. Pre-registration is NOT required. We hope to see many old and many new faces there next Friday.  See you soon .... Michael Rosen

Hi Mike What a wonderful conincidence, John and I will be in NJ for our granddaughters middle school graduation next week and plan on attending this meeting.  You cannot believe how much I miss the meetings in Lakewood and Toms River.  I've tried one or two in FL (about 1-1/2 hours away) but none compare to what I am used to.  Hope to see all of you on Friday.

Michael - Just a quick reminder that since the July 4th Holiday interferes with our normally scheduled July meeting, the July meeting has been pushed back to Friday, July 11th.  Please make an annoucement at Friday's meeting for me. Hi Michael I have avoided posting on here last year or so, after being accused of trying to **alienate** people against a certain person... so kept to myself I guess.   I am not looking for drama, nor controversy, I have just been in a bit of a bad space recently and wanted to say hello. Its been rough year... hellish actually.. and I figured I would post back here... on an older post where not alot of attention.. lolol.. can you say.. **low profile?**   and say hello on an older post where noone would see.  I think about you guys a lot, you guys were closest thing to family I have had, especially the lakewood group, and in particular the kindnesses from you and your wife. Please tell your lovely spouse I said hello and best wishes please?   You guys really helped me out when things were at their darkest for me, and I will always remember and appreciate that. Anyway.. just on a whim thought I would stop by and say hello. I left a generic encouragement post on main NJ board... I am really pleased it appears you have stepped up and taken somewhat of a leadership role at least in the Lakewood group. Anyway I wont keep yah... I miss everyone in the NJ Lakewood and OCWLS group at large so bad it hurts.. lolol... probably should not have moved but didnt know where else to go.  I was ... well it was mentioned that NJ was home court advantage for her and that I needed to quit alienating people toward.......  sooooooo  I have been scarce. Hi Timmy: Its good to hear from you again ... we just had our meeting last Friday in TR and had our meeting after the meeting at the diner ... it was great as Jack and Marge were back from Georgia and will be around this summer and of course the topic of "have you heard from" was brought up and the top of the list was "have you heard from Timmy Ray?" and we all said that we miss you from the meetings. Everyone would be very happy to see you if you are in the area and join us in one of the meetings (next Monday is the Lakewood meeting coming up). We have not seen or heard from your ex at any of the meetings that I have attended and I try to make most of them. Are you still teaching? How is it going? We all think about you and only wish you the BEST! Take care and keep in touch. Michael
