Hi Roberta, I was so happy when I saw your post.  I am so happy to hear that you and Ross are doing good.  I am not doing so bad myself.  I only have  6 LBS to lose until I reach my goal!!!!  I know that I probably will pass that, I am actually happy now!!!  I agree with you, if I had to do the surgery over again I would do it in a heartbeat myself.  So you will be finishing school soon, that is really good.  You have always been an Inspiration for me from day one, can you believe it, It will be a year for me in just another month.  Wow!!!  How time does fly.  Well I hope the best for you and Ross.  My Grandson and I are actually doing pretty good.  My boyfriend and I are doing very well too.   I pray for continued success on your journey.

Hi Roberta & Ross Good to see you!  I'm so glad things went so well for you.  I have been lucky myself so far and everything, as you say, has been "textbook perfect". I was talking about you tonight at our support group and wanted to let you know that I am passing along your WLS eating plan to someone new to our group.  It helped me in the beginning to get an idea of what I was looking for and what I could eat so I'm passing it along! Thanks for all your help & advice and lots of luck with school & your "new life"! Vicki

You guys look AMAZING!!  I'm so glad to see you post - I have virtually no time to get to the boards lately either, so it's great to see a familiar face :-) What are you studying?   It will be 2 years for me on August 1st.  I still have obstacles to overcome - I'm notoriously bad at the vitamin thing, but working on it every day. I'm so glad you're well!  Have a great time at the Sox game!

I know, I know - I have to keep plugging away at the vitamin thing until it's in my brain, etched forever LOL! I did medical coding and billing the old fashioned way - on the job training!  Not fun - especially when I transmitted a whole boat load of Medicaid claims under the wrong provider number.  Holy cow!  That was back in the stoneage, though.  I hope you find a great job that you love, even if you hate the school.

My Dear Roberta, I can't believe that it is 18 months already.  It feels like it was just yesterday.  You have done so well and you are truly an inspiration.  Please do me a favor and give me your e-mail addie.   I am going to probably start school online with Drexel in the fall and I am taking medical billing.  I have some questions. Has Matt suggested have Cedrone do Ross's panni and tummy tuck?   Jeanne

hi jeanne my email is [email protected] i'm glad you chose Drexel and not a trade school -- i really feel like i didn't get the education i'm going to be paying for -- i'll help you as much as i can -- once you get the hang of it it's really easy :) kirkland sent us to cedrone -- that was a fun experience -- went there in may right after ross had an appt -- we walked over cuz we can walk now ;) and they took all of ross's information and his insurance card and made the appt for august -- we go back in august -- fill out more paperwork -- and as we are walking into the exam room the lady says 'so are you self pay?' -- told her 'no he has bc/bs horizon' -- that was when they informed us that they don't take bc/bs horizon -- you wait til THEN to tell us!!!!!!!!!!!! yup i was a little off the wall at that point!!!  they had 3 months to contact us to tell us -- the lady at the desk even took his co-pay and never said a word --  going to look into dr Lo in voorhees -- i just don't have time to make phone calls and he's not going to -- he's a man haha claims he doesn't have time either -- oh well what can ya do :)  hope all is well with you  hugs roberta

Roberta, Lo did my first panni.   I don't think he accepts insurance.  I loved him.  He has an office in the same building as Schuricht.  He is such a sweetheart and his staff, at least when I went was terrific. I will right you later.  Check out Lo's website. Jeanne
