Lapband Question

I was banded April 7th and just had my first fill.   I would love to ask more experienced bandsters ....you hear so much about slippage and even though it isn't a common occurance how would you know if anything like that happened....is it a painful thing?  is it something you would just know if it happened? The reason I am asking is I had a bit of a problem getting down some very dry chicken (i shouldn't have even tried but I did learned from that mistake) and I don't usually throw up but i did this time and then started to wonder if I would know if I "threw" something out of line in there. Just wondering if anyone has any experience or have heard any symptoms... thanks! K

I do not know too much about slipped bands, but the reason you could not get the chicken down  is  because it was dry.   I had the same problems.    The more moist your meat is the better it is for you to get it down and keep it down.

I am a brand new bandster but I would post this question on the LapBand Forum. You will definitely get responses to you questions there. They are a very active a vocal group. Good Luck!
