My 2 year anniversary

Hello, I have posted from time to time on this board and also lurk a bit. Yesterday was my 2 year anniversary. I can't believe how time flies and how far I have come in the past 2 years. I am down about 103lbs, was down as far as 108 but fluctuate up and down. I have remained pretty steady for the past year. I had a tummy tuck this past September, a breast lift this past February and just got approval for my thighs which I may wait until September to do. I look good in clothes now and can wear a tankini!!! When I first had the surgery I thought I had made a big mistake, but now I don' t feel that way at all. If I hadn't had the surgery I could very well be topping 300lbs by now and that is a scarey thought. I hope to stay successful this year by watching what I eat more closely and adding exercise on a more regular basis, those are my goals!  I am glad I chose the bypass over the band, as I know that had contributed to my success. I am glad I made this decision because If I had let others guide me I would have never had the surgery in the first place. Too many people trying to talk me out of it. Now they see that I made the right decision! Good luck to all those trying to maintain and to those just starting their WLS journey, believe me it is worth it in the end. Amy

Hi Jacki, Dr. Danikas in Eatontown did them. There are two other doctors in the group, Dr. Thompson and Dr. Lombardi. I am pleased with the results. Amy
