Corect Attire for Avery Fisher Hall??

Has anyone been to a Saturday night anything at Avery Fisher Hall in NYC? I am going on Saturday to see Camelot and, of course have nothing in my closet to wear. Losing weight and going down sizes is great, but  the wardrobe selections are never vast!  I only buy season to season now and wear the new size a little tight and wear it until it is too loose so I get  as much mileage as possible. I'm thinking black dress and shoes wouldn't hurt.  Any thoughts?

black dress always works, but a nice pants outfit would work too.  things arent as dressy as they once were in the city. i went to see a broadway show last spring and they wore everything from jeans to fancy dresses. in any case have a great time jacki

I agree - a black dress fits most any occassion - but a pants outfit would be fine too for a show in NY.
