Just Had lapBand, 4-23
Congrats on surgery. That feeling does go away, I believe it is from the tube down the throat more than anything. i felt like I had a golf ball stuck in there, plus a sore throat and that was probably my only complaint. It went away in a few days. Plus your stomach is still swollen and it kinda pushes everything upward like pressure. Give it some time. Just remember when eating or drinking anything - take it very slow cause of the swelling - don't want anything backing up or irritating the stomach. Sip Sip Sip and Chew Chew Chew - take your time and you'll have less problems. Wish you well and you'll feel better every day you wake up - promise! Take care
They are correct, it DOES go away.

Dr. Goyal has his own support group that meets at Overlook. He also has a chat group on yahoo so you can share. Dr. Goyal did my surgery. If you have a chance to attend the NJ group. They are all fantastic. I've had some health issues and been unable to get there but they are all great people and are very helpful.
I wish you much success in your weightloss journey. Dr. Goyal is very good.
