"relations" question (yeah that kind...)
Who told you that?WHen you feel up to it you are good to go.As for before WHAT????????????????Why on earth would that be?Someone must have a looney doc if that's what they were told.I think I waited 2 or 3 weeks but mostly because my period was around for 2 weeks following surgery.Tell your hubby he shouldn't be too deprived lol

I agree.. thats insane.. haha I had sex the night before surgery and about 3 weeks after surgery. I've heard people who can have sex a couple days after surgery. I was in alot of pain the first couple weeks so I waited. You just gotta find positions that are comfortable and no pressure on the belly. I am 6 weeks out now and have no problems with positions or pain at all. :)
I was told to wait 6 weeks after... I told my hubby that the doc said 12 weeks LOL (I dunno... I just had major surgery, my hubby is around 400 lbs and I wasn't going to risk busting up something) It might have been the post on the main board that you saw that on. We had "other relations" around 5 weeks because I couldn't stand waiting Ask your surgeon what he/she recommends.

My boys are 3 reasons why WLS was right for me! I love my post op miracles =o)
I felt "ready" at about 1 week out - but hubby was scared and I hadn't asked my surgeon yet....so at my two week appointment I asked - and my hubby was there and turned beat red. She said "I've cleared you for the gym, I can certainly clear you for sex! It's a good abdominal work out as well, so it will help you tone up" Haven't had a problem since.....
Have fun!
