Hubby's home

Hubby went into surgery at 8:15 was in recovery by 9:20, was back in the holding room by 10:15 and was discharged (because of his persistance) by 11am.  The cyst was pretty bad - it had three "extensions" to it meaning it was a big round cyst with 3 arms growing in different directions.  All of them were at least 1/2" deep, with the deepest one growing 1" into his rectum.  Right now he is pretty numbed up, so he doesn't have much pain - I have already medicated him with percocet so when the numbing wears off it doesn't hit him like a lead balloon.  The packing will stay in for a wee****il next Thursday when the doctor does the first dressing change, which I was surprised to hear.  I just have to change the external bandages as needed.  So that's it for right now.  Hopefully his pain will be tolerable over the next couple of days.

Thanks for all those who asked about him and asked for updates.

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.
