Hi There,   I currently live in Indiana, but i am getting ready to move back to my home state of New Jersey in the next few weeks... I have surgeon in Indiana that I LOVE, and I actually plan on coming back to indiana to get my fills, BUT................ If I ever find myself in a bind, where I need a fill but dont have the time / money to make the 12 hour drive back to Indiana, I was wondering....  CAN ANYONE RECOMMEND A GOOD PLACE TO GET FILLS?? My Indiana surgeon is really, really good at fills..  I have never heard of her not hitting the port the 1st time.. shes SMOOTH!! Who do you use?  or, if you have heard about any places that I SHOULDNT go, tell me!! If anyone has a bad rep and stinks at doing fills, I want to know who it is so I can AVOID that person / clinic! Any recommendations would be GREATLY appreciated!!

Hi Jennie. I don't know where you're moving back to but I use Dr David Ward.  He has an office in Morristown and also works out of Somerset Medical Center.  He hasn't missed on a fill for me...and he is really an awesome Dr!   If you need a support group too, Bariatric Angels, is great!  We meet weekly in several locations. Good luck! Cindy

(ok, I am a little bias here) I would suggest contacting the fine folks at http://www.advancedlaparoscopicsurgeons.com/. They are known for helping patients who had other doctors. You may need to supply them with your medical history, but I would think that’s the norm for any place you go to.

I hope this helps.
