OT hubby update

For those of you who had asked..... Hubby had his surgical consult.  As I expected as I watched the wound heal and "felt" around it - although the cyst was drained, there is a large amount of scar tissue along with the cell "roots" that will continue to infect him if left untreated. Surgery is scheduled for next Friday, the fourth of april.  We'll find out the time next Thursday, but it will be in the morning.  Unfortunately, because he's had this for years (but it has only flared so badly one other time, so like a good man he ignored it) the surgeon said it's gonna be a pretty big incision and probably a fairly painful recovery.  He's not looking forward to it, and I can't blame him.  Poor baby! So there ya go - thanks all for your previous well wishes and your continued support. Pam

glad to know that there is conclusion and hopefully he won't have to go thru this again :)

thanks for the update sorry hubby has to have surgery but i wish him well with everything.  hope recovery goes better than expected. hugs, jacki
