Dr. Sadek - Freehold

Has anyone here had surgery through Dr. Sadek?  Did you like him? I met with him last week, and he seems competent.  TIA Stacy

I unfortunately do not know much about him.  If he's out of Freehold, though, does he do his surgery at CentraState?  It's a great facility.  I did my nursing school time there and everything was always clean and the nurses seemed to be very competant no matter which speciality we were in (we didn't do bariatrics, though)  I've heard excellent things about their bariatric program, as well. Just wanted to wish you luck on your journey and keep us updated. Pam

Pam, I have to agree that CentraState is top notch.  I've been extremely impressed so far.  For example, the other day I went for my pre-op testing.  9 AM appt. and I was back in my car within 40 minutes!  They even had gowns that came out of a warming unit.  I felt like I was at a spa (well except for getting blood drawn, tinkling in a cup and a chest xray, lol). I'm scheduled for VSG on March 19th. Stacy

My name is Colette and I had my surgury with Dr. Washington, and Dr. Sadek had assisted him.

I am very pleased with my surgury and the care that I receive from the Dr.'s and the staff.

I had my surgury on Oct 22,2007 and have lost 42 lbs.'t  I have had 1 fill with Dr. Sadek and everything went well. I love my band if i didn't have it i would have never lost the 42 lbs. and I even lost during the holiday's. The program offers the monthly support meetings. I suggest  that you go to them even befor you have the surgury. I enjoyed them and was able to ask questions to the people that already had the band put in. The meetings made me more informed as to what to expect. The hospital is great, and clean. If you have any questions feel free to ask. Good Luck, Colette

I also had my surgery with Dr. Washington, and Dr. Sadek assisted him.  Thier office staff are great to work with.  I work at the hospital and I do know Dr. Sadek professionally.  I think he has a good bedside manor and very good at what he does.  I will tell you that you MUST follow their pre-op instructions.  It is for your own good and health.  They are very very strict and are known to cancel procedures if you do not do so. Again I work at the hospital, but CSMC was wonderful.  The staff from the nurses to the transporters are friendly and caring.  I would highly recommend this practice and this hospital.
