I'm having my surgery by a doctor in manhattan, but live in Northern NJ & would prefer to go to the meetings out in NJ - but I'm having a hard time trying to find any. Does anyone know of one - in the Montclair, West Orange, Wayne area? Thanks! Michelle (just 6 days until my surgery!!!)

They have one at Morristown Memorial I think its the first Tuesday. Give them a call to find out if they still have them

I believe there is one also at Hackensack Hospital but I don't know that information.  Best of luck with your surgery.

There is one at St.Clare's Hospital on Rt 46 in Dover - next Wednesday at 6pm  (the 4th Weds of the month) Good Luck!

The support group at Hackensack University Hospital meets  the first Thursday of each month from 6:30-8:00 PM.  It's open to any and everyone - all surgeries!

There are meetings the Ambulatory Care Center in Livingston (across from livingston mall)  the 1st wednesday of the month at 6p for 1st year WLS.  I know they have separate meetings for lap banders but don't know which wednesday although I might venture to guess the 2nd wednesday of the month.  There is the 3rd group for patients over 1 year with WLS.  Their next meeting is March 19th.  all meetings are 6-730p.
