Marathon ???

Hi All, I am looking for a race in New Jersey.  I am trying to find soemthing like a 5k.  Can anyone offer some information on where I can begin to look or a race they know about? Maxine

I am actually interested in finding a race like that myself. I want to give myself something to strive for (other than a number on the scale). If you find out about any, let me know. If I hear anything, I'll post it.

Hi There,                      Here is a link to the New Jersey Road Runner Club. They are from the central Jersey shore area. Good friends of mine, very friendly and always willing to lend a hand. Hi, At local running stores you can pick up a hard copy of RACE FORUM. Their web site  http://raceforum.com/ also lists NJ events of every type. Local 5 K's etc. Many races have links to sign up online. NJMarathon.org is the web site for the NJ Marathon, 1/2 marathon and other mini related events. It has been moved to May this year. I have done it WALKING when they had the 10 miler- twice...then I did it WALKING as a half- marathon (13.1 miles). I have been registered since last year for this year. Wonderful event!! Bernadette
