Jinx myself

At 2:00am Saturday night I woke up SCREAMING in pain; serious abdominal pain – in 3 years I’ve never experienced that before. Ambulance came & took me to the Hospital. The did extensive blood work, EKG and an Ultra sound. They found nothing, my kidneys, gallbladder & liver are fine. They are assuming it was acid reflux & serious gas (which was slight embarrassing). The doctor prescribed heavy Pepcid (Famotidine). Today my stomach feels tight, but nothing like the pain I had before.
I am going to call my doctor who did my bypass, see if I can get his opinion. The ER doctor said sometimes with this surgery leakage pops up, but after 3 years it’s unlikely; and I would have experienced fever, vomiting, etc.

Has anyone experienced this & what happened?

Did they do a Cat scan?  It could also be an obstruction - but considering your pain is improving, that is HIGHLY unlikely. I agree with you to call your surgeon.  They may be able to run some other tests and figure out what is going on. Best of luck and keep us updated. Pam
