Hey all

Hey everyone!  This is my first time at this forum.  I usually just post/read the main one for lack of knowing this one existed!   Anyway, I was wondering if anyone lives in the Washington Township, Morris Co. area?  My hubby and I moved here over the summer from Union Co., and I'm still trying to meet new people and make new local friends.  Just someone to get coffee with, shop or exercise.  I'm a member of Golds Gym in Hackettstown. Hi Kelly Im in Ocean County - Brick. Just looking for your thoughts on Dr Abkin? I am going to his seminar tomorrow..I think I will be choosing  him for the WLS.  Any suggestions on questions i should ask? Thank You Stacey

To be honest, when I went with my best friend (he's doing her surgery Feb. 18th), we wrote down some questions that pertained to us.  Both of us are young (I just turned 30 and she's 27) and neither of us have children yet, but do want them.  So I wanted to make sure there could be children after WLS.  Throughout the seminar however, most of my questions were asked by others.  What I'm trying to say is, if you forget to ask something, chances are it'll be answered.  Jot down what is important to you, but the seminar itself is pretty thorough.  Dr Abkin is great, with a great bedside manner and a wonderful staff.  You will have the opportunity to make an appt for a consult with him at the end of the seminar (at least that's how they did it when I went).  Good luck and lemme know what happens!! Hey Kelly welcome to the losers bench & to these boards.I live in Washington Borough-Warren County.So I am really close.Only 15 mins from HAckettstown.I work In High Bridge which is 10 - 15 mins from Long Valley if you take 513 down.I am  a hairdresser so if you need one that's where I am.Good luck on your journey
