Anyone Have Red Blotchy Skin?

I am 10 months out from GBS-RNY and doing great in all areas except for the skin on my face, particularly my forehead which has red blotces. This just started recently and isn't anywhere else on my body. Has anyone experienced the same thing? I work out agressively, eat right and my recent bloodwork was all good except for my B1(Thiamin) and Folate (Folic Acid) levels being high. I have cut back on these vitamins to every other day.

hi there 13 months out from open rny and all around the bottom of my nose, on my cheeks is red  blotches and the skin always feels oily -- i just live with it haha don't know what else to do :)  good luck roberta --  btw -- good choice of surgical team :)

so have either of you asked your docs about this?? not sure it would be related to the surgery, unless lack of hydration at this time of year perhaps?? hope it works out for you both hugs, jacki

hi jacki no job = no health insurance = no doc appt at the end of next week i don't take thyroid meds anymore -- doc can't give me a script without bloodwork and an appointment -- oh well -- life goes on  take care roberta
