ARE YOU UNION, WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT IT.

I don't work for First Student, but I use their services thu NJT's Access Link....From what I hear, you people need a Union.  You have arbitrary disciplinary practices, no concern for the health and satey of drivers, unpleasant scheduling, no breaks etc.  NJ is a right to work state.  This is one of those political terms that means something completely different than what it sounds like.  It means you have the right to work without Union "interference".  What it really means is that you are an "at will" employee.  You can be terminated for any reason at any time. Union contracts are good because they set up a system of rules for both the employer and the employee to follow.  Discipolinary appeal processes are defined, all of you rights and responsibilities are defined....In the long run, Unions work....

thank you for your support, My location is now Union, Teamsters. First student makes Wal Mart look good. Wife works there. fortunately this is my retirement career, so I have all the benefits of a Union career, but I brought the Union to
fs because I see so many drivers just left behind in our economic system.
