Congrats Sharon -- brave of you do do the LBL and BL and the same time -- I needed one part of my body not in pain!  Then again, I'm probably much older than you! In any case, I do agree that Dr Joe is amazing.  Give him my best when you next see him for a follow up! Hugs, Nannette

Nannette, I think your advice is what the current trend seems to be. My surgeon didn't want to do the TT and the BL at the same time, too much tension on the skin. I think that as they see more and more gastric bypass/massive weight loss patients they are learning more and more. My TT was more extensive than planned because I had a gall bladder scar they removed in order to facilitate a good blood supply in the skin. I just had my BL done last week and he wouldn't do the implants at the same time because of the skin tension and he wants the breasts to settle into place as well. Plus I am hoping that I will be happy with the size without the implants. He also revise the upper portion of the TT above my belly button which added to the tension in the skin.  Amy

I also had a tummy tuck and breast lift at the same time with Dr. Capella 2 weeks ago. It was no problem doing it together....the tummy tuck recovery is not easy, but I don't even feel the boob part whatsoever! Good luck! Debbie
