Hi, newbie here

Hello,  I just wanted to introduce myself.  I'm looking for as much support as possible.  I had my surgery on 12/18/07.  I'm still on my liquid diet and am feeling okay.  Still have some stomach pain but it gets better a little each day.  I'm hoping that I feel a lot better in a week since I have to take my daughter to a concert on the 5th of Jan. I just wanted to say hello and hope to get lots of info here and chat with a bunch of people. Happy New Year.

Welcome Bunny to the NJ boards! The pain fades a bit each day - sounds like you are over the tough part of the surgery.  Good Luck in your journey.  You will find alot of great folks on the board that have alot of good suggestions. Welcome to the loser's bench!

Hello and welcome!  NJ board is a very friendly, close knit board that everyone encourages everyone else and someone has an answer for most things. Sounds like you are doing fabulously already - and it does get better, a little every day.  Pretty soon you'll start to be amazed by yourself, your energy, your accomplishments, your attituded EVERYTHING. Happy New Year and welcome to the neighborhood. I was neverous also 2 1/2 weeks out, I wanted to take my son to see the Simpsons.  Everything went well. Hope all goes well for your daughter's concert. Rob
