Surgery Today.. Yes on Christmas Eve
Lilly,
You will be in my thoughts today. What a FABULOUS Christmas gift to yourself! Way to go! Our support group leader, in response to questions about nerves and what not said this "Remember that you made your decision BEFORE the emotions got involved. You did all your research and decision making when you were "sane" Being scared is normal - but somewhere behind all that you know you are comfortable with your surgeon, you had the patience and the guts to go through all the insurance red tape. Take a deep breath, and hold on for the ride of your life!!"
This has truly been the best decision for me - and I still have a LONG way to go. I love the way I feel, I am beginning to like the way I look, and I am VERY proud of my accomplishments. You will be the same. It certainly isn't the "easy way out", but oh so very gratifying!!!
Pam
