HOW THE FRIG DOES THIS HAPPEN?
I had surgery a year ago today. But since having surgery, I have never and when I tell you never, I have never felt the full feeling. I have been able to eat as much as I want. Not as much as I could eat pre-surgery, but much more than a wls patient should be able to eat. Now, what I would do was I would measure out my food and stop eating when I knew I had eaten enough. I never felt full. Well, I went on a spiritual fast with someone from this board a few weeks ago and since going on that fast, it seems as if it kick started my pouch. Now when I eat, I can only eat a few bites and feel full. Now, let me remind you that I have never felt the full feeling, so this was sorta different for me. I actually thought that something was wrong with me. But now, my pouch is working. Go figure!!! Have you ever heard of this before? A pouch not working for an entire year and then all of a sudden it starts working. Weird I know, but this is exactly what happened to me. Well, I just wanna thank God for this blessing......Its like I just had surgery....I guess I can start counting the honeymoon from this point. Honestly, my weight had come to a hault about a few months ago. I was fluctuating back and forth and since my pouch started working, I have lost 7 pounds. Thank you Jesus. Now, please tell me that someone else has gone through this......
