Venting - Life Sucks!

Hi Nannette, Sorry to hear about all your problems.  There isn't much I can add to all the other posts, everyone has said almost the same thing only in different ways.  We are truly sorry for all this unhappiness.  Holiday time seems to bring all the problems to the surface making it very hard to handle.  Please know John and I are thinking of you.  I know it will be hard to celebrate Christmas with so many things going on, but you are always so upbeat and have a good outlook on life so maybe things will get a little better and some holiday cheer will enter your life.  Thinking of you. Oh, Nannette!  I'm so very sorry that it seems like the Grinch has gotten a hold of your Christmas :-(  Please know you will be in my thoughts and prayers.  You've got so much going on with the dog, your mom, the job, your health - I hope the new year brings new opportunities, new rewards, and new happiness. 

Hi Nanette, I thought that this past year really sucked in my life, but after reading your post, it made me realize to have a little more faith and look at the positive.  In regards to your mom, you should check to see what kind of senior services her County offers.  I know with my grandma, she's vision impaired and needs to get around with a walker.  She has a home health aid check on her a few times a week, but unfortunately she has to pay someone to check up and feed her three times a day.  My grandma always tells me that the golden years are not as golden as one may think and her friend Arthur (arthiritis) is a pain in the you know what:).  My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
