Hello Everyone,  I am new here and had WLS (RNY) 5 yrs ago.  I was a brittle diabetic with several other co morbidities which are now pretty much non existent.  I feel GREAT and look forward to continue my support here.  My husband is in the process of getting his paper work done for this very soon.   We live in Central NJ and will be using Dr. Andrei (Livingston, NJ) for his RNY sometime (hopefully) Feb.  I look forward to knowing many of you and to share as much as I can!  Sue Height: 4'10 Post-Op Current Wt: 120 lbs (bmi: 24) Pre-Op: 258 lbs, bmi: 52 LAP RNY- 11/13/02 Dr. V. Sue, Welcome to the boards.  We are a great group of people here on NJ boards. Your success is unbelievable!!  That's wonderful!  And much luck to your husband - I'm sure you are a huge inspiration to him. I am almost 6 weeks out, had lap rny in Pennsylvania at the Barix clinics center, although I live in Port Monmouth, NJ.  I felt most comfortable there. Can't wait to continue following your journey and your husbands new journey with you. Pam

Hello Pam,  Thank you for the warm welcome.  Congratulations for your 6 wks being post op now!  Gosh, that was so long ago for me.  I am still trying to figure out how to get a picture with new posts(keeps saying the peg file is too big yet the others posted so well) . Not sure why it went well with all the other pictures yet I can't get one when people read my posts. Also, I see my signature posted twice.  Sorry about that and I hope with more time and posting, I'll eventually get all this straightened out. Bear with me... Talk to you again soon!

I'm computer illiterate and had a friend do my pic for me - I do know that the "avatar" picture, the one seen with your posts, has to be something like 100X100, but I don't know of what nor do I know how to do that. Good luck! Pam
