Hi and Happy Holidays. I received the best Christmas present on Friday.  I have been approved for a panni. Originally I wanted to have my knees replaced first but my gastric bypass surgeon suggested to do it this way, helps me lose 50 more lbs and puts me that much closer to my goal and also to my new knees. I drove my PCP crazy only to find that the letter that I wrote (he signed) along with pics from the PS were all I needed. I am scheduling for late January.  This is my second panni so I know what to expect.  After I get the knees I will then look into a tummy tuck. I never wanted a month to fly by as fast as I want this one to do so. Again, happy holidays to you all. Jeanne

hi jeanne   merry christmas to you!!!! i am soooooooo happy for you!! wonderful news :)  question -- how far down does the panni have to be for it to be considered a panniculectomy?  and how is it different from a lower body lift or a tummy tuck?  i wish you only the best with your waiting period :)  hugs to you roberta
