I'm home

I'm home!!  I had surgery Thursday morning and was sent home yesterday.  I feel pretty good today.  Yesterday I did feel like crap though!  The gas pain is the worst.  I'm trying to walk it out.  I'll see about getting outside tomorrow for a little bit.  So far I've been doing laps around the house.   The people at the hospital were great and the doctor and his staff were excellent.  I even joked with one of the doctors that every one in the office had been to see me but the admin.  And considering I was only in for about 30 hours that's not too bad!  They were all super nice and I'm following their orders as best I can.  I do find that I keep forgetting to drink today.  I know that's a no-no but I put down the cup and just forget about it. The only time I got hungry was when my husband made himself some dinner.  He apologized and looked so guilty.  I actually felt bad for the poor guy.  We'll both get used to it.   Thanks for all the support ahead of time everyone.

I think I need to go change my ticker!!

glad to hear that everything went well :) try not to beat yourself up too much about not getting in the protein and water right away -- it will come with time :) just remember to drink real slow -- if not, then your new stomach will remind you!! the pains will come fast and hang around for a while  -- just go lie down and wait it out -- only advice i can give you there -- the best of luck to you  take care roberta
