Hi Everyone, Everytime I have lost weight in the past (before surgery), I always reach a size 20 and go back up. I always saved my clothes because I guess I just didn't believe I would ever keep the weight off.  So after the surgery as I have gotten smaller and smaller I have been getting rid of the Fat Clothes!!!  Well I have reached my first goal am an 18 now!!!   WooHoo!!!!  Now I don't  have any clothes to wear, but it's a good thing LOL!!!  So if anyone has any 18 Jeans or 16 Jeans and 1x tops, I would appreciate it.  If I have to come get it I will.  Thanks again. Melissa

Way to go - I don't have clothes in that size, but wanted to say congrats to you! Pam

Congrats to you, doing well! Try your local consignment and thrift shops. I bought at one in May, all clothing was half price and got great stuff for a few bucks. Thrift shops sometimes have dollar days or half price days. goodwill i**** or miss but if you have patience give it a try! If you like to shop online, JCPenney and Sears are great sites because they have clearance. I did well at Chadwicks last year, 80% off! Kohl's is good for clearance too. Don't buy much, just a few basics that will get you through! Good luck!

Hey Melissa. I don't have anything to offer you...I'm in the same boat. I just wanted to congratulate you. You are doing such a wonderful job.

Hi Melissa, Im sorry I dont have any clothes to offer but I was out shopping yesterday and came across a store in So. Plainfield, Its called Unique and its on Oak tree rd and park ave. It is a thrift store but it is HUGE like a department store..Very clean and very cheap.  My husband works a very dirty job and I buy all his jeans at thrift stores. I think it just opened. I was so excited to find it because my surgery is scheduled for 12/20 and I was very worried about where I was going to get clothes as I lost weight.  I know that this is kind of far from you,but it might be worth it.  good luck... Congrats!  Unfortunately all I can offer right now is a white Wal-Mart blouse.  The tags are still on it.  I got rid of everything else (size 16-32) in September, but if you'd like me to keep my 14 bottoms on deck for you I can.

Amy Unique Thrift Store in South Plainfield (just over Edison border) is a great source.  Corner of Oak Tree Road and Park Avenue. Across the way from GrandSlam. I've gotten size 10's CK jeans there.  I had bought 14's pre-op thinking if I WAS LUCKY- I would squeeze into them...I'm down into 10's and needed some clothes to hold me. Got some there.... Also on Monday's everything there  is 25% off. Veteran's Day they had an ad in the Star Ledger...50% off that Monday.... Also they can take donations thru the front door. I dropped off a few bags of freshly laundered clothes and household items, and books last week. I do not know who actually runs the store (specific charity?) ...but it is like an indoor flea market but neater....and warmer.... Bernadette
