The party

Sorry it took so long for me to get back to you guys.  I've been hanging on the pa board most of the time, and without sounding mean, just totally forgot to post here. The party went wonderfully.  People noticed I lost weight - but I just said I've been working on it.  The restaurant lay out had changed since our last being there - and it worked out well for me.  There were passed appetizers as expected.  The hubby was sitting at the bar at that point at time, so he ate his appetizers there and I sat with him drinking my water. I made sure I had my water glass with me whenever I went "table hopping" which allowed me to keep up my fluid intake and gave me something to do while talking to people. Hubby ended up having two small plates of the buffet - the second one I went up to get for him while he was getting me more water, and while standing in line, talked to all my relatives and they just assumed the plate was for me as well!!  he he he We all had a wonderful time - my family is none the wiser, my brother was very happy - and probably the most exciting part of the day - although surrounded by food - it didn't bother me much at all.  I found myself not to be obsessing over everything and what not.
