Well I must admit I was a bit frustrated waiting and not receiving a call to be scheduled.  So yesterday I decided I was going to be proactive and call them.  Lo and behold I discovered a few changes.  Peggy is no longer in charge of scheduling.  She has moved to the insurance side of it. My call was re-routed to Eileen and she was more than happy to schedule me for both my PAT's and surgery. So next week I go for PAT's on the 15th and on November 26th I will be receiving my new lease on life.  I am stoked. Anyone that might be scheduled for surgery at that time give me a shout.  My doctor is Dr. Boe. Bill

Jackie, I'm not Dr. Mike, but I can answer this... Read his profile. He is now on the Clinical Advisory board of Obesity Help - which he mentions in his profile and has a clinical practice in NJ.  In his practice he says he has treated patients for weight loss using behavior modification, etc. - and that prior to the availability of weight loss surgery they had little long-term success keeping the weight off. I know Dr. Mike professionally because I work for my bariatric surgeon, Dr. Joseph Kamelgard.  He is not here fishing for business.  Dr. Mike is here to both give support to the bariatric community AND learn from us - which is exactly as he stated in his post  about the Psych Eval and when he said "help the helper to help".
