Anyone have

Dr. Boe in Langhorne Barix Clinic?  Just wondering how he is.  Seems like a good guy. I am still waiting on scheduling.  Since October 5th.  I am very excitied about it.  Anyone in the Runnemede, NJ that would like to chat just give me a response.

i'm right over in lindenwold if ya need anything  do you already have your approval for surgery?? and you are waiting almost a month for a surgery date??  personally i wouldn't put up with that -- bad office practices  i went over the bridge to Matt Kirkland at Penn Hosp and i'm almost a year post op -- but i fully remember what it was like waiting and waiting  good luck to you --and if you need anything just give a shout :) roberta

I'm supprised you are waiting this long to be scheduled.  I was scheduled as soon as I had the approval from the insurance company.  I love my surgeon and his group.  They also do plastics after weight loss.

Hey Lori, How are you??  How's life a month or so post-op??  I'm scheduled for 11/20 with Wasser.  I'm so excited!!!!  I have an appointment with the doc on 11/7....what is this appointment for?? Other than paying $250...whats that for??  Did you lose weight before your surgery?  Sorry for all the questions, just want to know as much as I can!  Thanks! Blythe

Hi Blythe, I am doing really well.  I feel great.  I am scheduled for a fill on 11/15/07.  My weight loss has slowed so I hope the fill helps that.  Is the appt. on 11/7 your first?  The $250.00 is to join the support group, Small price to pay considering how much I have spent at weigh****cher and Jenny Craig. Anyway the first appt. is to get you weight and talk about the different procedures and to figure out if you qualify.  In addition, you will be told what you need to do, which doctors you get to go to in order for the insurance company to ok the surgery.  I had Amerihealth and it was really easy.

Hi Lori, So glad to hear you're doing so well and are getting your first fill!!!  I'm scheduled for surgery on 11/20...I go 11/7 for the pre-op visit...I was just curious what was done at that visit.  I was a little worried because I didn't lose any weight since my very first appointment in June, but I didn't gain either.Thanks so much for answering all my qestions...can't wait to join you on the losers bench!!! I forgot to add that my appt. prior to surgery was to get the protein powder and to check my weight and answer any questions, I might have.

Hop on over to the PA board - there is ALOT of people there who use Barix.  I just got out of surgery from them with a different surgeon. The people who have had Dr. Boe love him, I have never met the man before. CALL BARIX. They are a great facility in my opinion - however - things do get over seen in all practices once in a while.  You deserve to be kept informed of what is going on.  His new schedule may not be out right now, and that's possibly why you have not heard anything - however, it may also be that they are waiting on something that you don't even know about. I was approved within 2 weeks of my consultation.  I did all my pre-requisites and had it all submitted by october 5th.  I found out a few weeks ago that the december surgery schedule wasn't out yet and that i was the 17th person in line for that month and they would call me once it came out.   Well I found out tuesday through another source that the schedule is out.  Now I await a phone call.  Hopefully, even with the holidays, I can still be scheduled for this month.  But alas, noone has called me yet. :(

When i found out i got approved last Friday From Tina she just told me right there and then to pick a date if i want to right then if not i could wait and pick a date a little later When i would like to get it done. So i picked 11/26/07 and it was a date that they had a opening. My Doctor is in the same group as Lori G  Doctor.They are all great Doctors there.
