Say a Prayer
Hi Everyone,
I need all the blessings I can get, about a year ago my grandson who is only 4 years old, was taken away from my daughter by DYFS, the pre-school he was going to saw a mark on his neck, and accused my daughter of child abuse, a week later they found out it was the chicken pox, but they still wouldn't return my grandson, well anyway it is a long story, I admit my daughter took very could care of her son, but has a problem with hanging around the wrong type of people, so because it has been a year since he was placed in Foster Care, there is a permanency hearing this afternoon for the state to get permanent custody. So I applyed for legal custody a month ago, and the Judge is going to make a decision today whether to grant me custody or the state. You see 15 years ago I made some mistakes myself, but I have changed my life and am really proud of myself. So DYFS is trying to bring up my past in order to keep custody of my grandson. Pray for me today that the Judge agrees that because I have had my 4 children in my custody for the past 15 years and have not had any problems, there is no reason why I should not have my Grandson. I Hope and pray this all works out for the best. I miss my grandson and he misses us so much too, next week is Halloween and I hope we can take him out for Halloween, and the next day on November 1, 2007, is his Birthday he will be 5. I can't wait to find out what the Judge is going to do.

Hoping that all has gone well for you, Grandma! I think that it's great that you've stepped-up to regain your grandson, especially since you've made a turn around in your own life and can provide family and stability to the little guy. My thoughts are with you at this trying time.
