One Step Closer

I called Linda @ PATS today to confirm she had gotten my now within normal blood levels that I sent her the other week.  I also let her know that I will have a letter from my PMD supporting the fact that I am now cleared for surgery.  She said that yes, she had gotten the lab results, and seeing as though I've been waiting for so long and then had to be cancelled, and she has the normal lab values in hand, she "put my chart in que for scheduling" I asked her what that meant, and she said that I am now available for scheduling, and wanted me to talk to Peggy Biddle for scheduling - she gave me her number so I can follow up and then transferred me in to her directly.  Unfortunately, she wasn't at her desk, so I left her a voice mail.  I can only guess this will mean that I should have a date by the end of the week - hopefully by the end of the day - but I know things take time. :-)  I'm sooooo excited just to have this part done - again!! I'll let you know all on my date as soon as I find out. Thanks again for all your support - I seriously contemplated cancelling the surgery completely when I got cancelled last month at my PATs - I was just soooo fed up with everything.  But I'm so glad I didn't and realized that it was just another pebble I needed to kick into the ocean. Pam,I am so happy for you.Maybe we will be in at the same time.Peggy called me back Friday  to confirm she did get my blood work.She also said she'd be calling me today with my date.I'm dying for her to call.I don't wanna walk out the door for fear I'll miss her.Good luck I hope we both hear soon

Thanks - I'm glad somebody can wait patiently for a date for me - because I am having a REAL hard time this time around.  The first time, I kinda didn't mind waiting - I had family stuff and what not...so time slipped by and I didn't even think about it.  Now it's been oh, what, 8 hours or so since I had the conversation - and you know what - I'm upset it hasn't happened already.  I need to cool these jets of mine!
