New and Hello From Doug & Jerry

Jerry and I are new to this forum although we have been in the background reading for a couple of weeks now.  We are having RNY on October 31st. by Dr. Jean-Baptiste.  Just wanted to say hello and become more active in the New Jersey Forum. Doug

Hi Doug and Jerry, Welcome to the NJ boards.  I had surgery with Dr. JB on 08/29/07.  I have had no complications at all (thank God).  I was home the next day and doing great.  The only problem I had was the gas pains in the hospital around 10:30 at night. My surgery was on a Wed. and I was driving Sat.  I didn't need to take any pain meds after I left the hospital.  I've lost 32 pounds since surgery. Right now I am in a stall and haven't lost anything in a week. I hear that is normal.  LOL If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.  You can email me at [email protected]. Hi Jerry and Doug!  Welcome!  Dr JB is also my surgeon.  I'm in the pre op testing stage (almost done, thank god!).  Hopefully I'll have my date soon.  Just wanted to say "glad to meet ya!"
