I had a really busy night last night after work and fell asleep on the couch.  I had been craving fig newtons all day (TOM).  My husband woke me up to tell me he was going to bed.  Believe it or not, in my half sleep, I forgot I had the surgery (10/2) and grabbed one of my kid's lunch snack fig newtons.  I was halfway through the 2nd bar when it hit me.  I felt over full to the point of wanting to throw up.  I ran to the bathroom and never really threw up but had lots of interesting stuff exiting for a period of about 20 minutes.  I truly believe that I will never forget that I have had the surgery again.  Anyway, I'm sticking to liquids today.  What an awful feeling!!!

Not for a long time, lol.  I felt much better after about 20 minutes of being really uncomfortable.  Definately a learning experience.

Hi Lori G.  Congrats on your surgery!!!  I'm also a patient of Dr. Wasser's, though I haven't received a surgery date yet, as I had to provide MORE paperwork for my insurance company.  I just wanted to ask if you were satisfied with Wasser and how things went, generally.  Thank You!

Hi,  Good luck getting the surgery date!  I was sooooo pleased with Dr. Wasser and the hospital.  It has got to top my best list of hospital experiences.  I was relatively pain free after 2 days, and even the pain was minor in my opinion.

They fix the tummy, not the head...that saying is never more true to you than right now, I'm sure.  Sorry you had this experience, good luck with everything! Pam
Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.

I think it could have been worse.  I'll chalk it up to experience for now, lol, and hope it never happens again.
