I was just told info was missing a day ago but they got it and approved it in just one day!  Funny how after all this time (almost 2 years since my first visit)  it comes down to one day! Needless to say, I understand all the feelings people here have described!  Happy, anxious, nervous!  WOW. Well, I guess I get to say "Warm up a seat on the loser's bench for me!"   October 30th will be coming up soon! Vicki

First off, congrats!  And you are right....oct 30 IS right around the corner!  Whoo hoo!!!  You go! Just a quick question...did you actually speak to your surgeon regarding your date?  (I know, it sounds stupid to ask such a thing) only because my approval letter CAME with a date on it...and apparantly, it was just a date that the surgeon puts down arbitrarily, because otherwise my insurance wouldn't have approved me without a date (yet, I couldn't get a date without being approved....how stupid is THIS cycle??) so I noted on the letter surgery was less than something like 2 weeks away...well...I panicked because I didn't have all my surgeon's tests done and what not...but they said not to worry, it's not a real date, it's just something we had to fill in and we can change the date and your approval is good for up to a year....so...just making sure!! But hey, CONGRATS and hope I don't sound to stupid.... Pam

-Hi Pam At first you had me thinking but when I got in touch with them, they set up the pre-surgery meeting with the doctor and the post op appt for about 2 wks later.  I can only think it's the real deal. I think they give the insurance company a surgery date just to keep them moving along and do approvals based on a deadline. Thanks!  If it turns out to be a "fake" date, I'm sure you will be seeing one of these from me     but for now - I'm keeping on this face:  Vicki
