ANYONE BANDED BY DR. JEAN B.?

iF SO HOW WAS THE EXPERIENCE HOW DID IT GO BEFORE AND AFTER THE SURGERY. I HAVE BEEN LOOKING INTO HIS GROUP FOR A WHILE SEEMS TO HAVE THE RIGHT CRIDENTIALS AND ALL. I JUST WANT TO SEE IF ANYONE ON THIS BOARD KNOW FIRST HAND!

My husband was banded by Dr. JB back in April.  I had my surgery done in Philly back in December.  I switched to Dr. JB and his crew in January of this year.  Their practice is the best.  They really care about you and they really want you to be successful.  My husband has not had any problems since getting his band and he has lost 55 pounds since surgery. All I can say is visit Dr. JB's office and you will immediately feel comfortable and confident.  Also, go to one of the support groups.  The next one will be held on October 18th at 5:30pm - 7:00pm.  You will see that he has hundreds of patients and he and his staff knows them all by name.  Very impressive. TRUST ME WHEN I TELL YOU....YOU WILL NEVER FIND A BETTER DR. & STAFF THAN DR.JB!!!!! HE "IS" GOD......GREAT BEDSIDE MANNER...GREAT ATTITUDE...GREAT PERSONALITY....THE WHOLE STAFF IS THAT WAY...YOU COULDNT BE IN BETTER HANDS MY WIFE AND I HAD GASTIC BYPASS SURGERY FROM HIM ON THE SAME DAY AND IT HAS BEEN SMOOTH SAILING EVER SINCE....YOU HEAR LOTS OF HORROR STORIES ABOUT NOT GOING TO APPOINTMENTS OR JUST KINDA GETTING SHUFFLED THRU THE SYSTEM AFTER SURGERY, BUT NOT HERE........FOLLOW UPS, SUPPORT GROUPS & A GREAT OUTLOOK FOR THE SMALLEST DETAILS. I'm so glad you posted the question.  I'm using Dr. JB for my RNY as well.  I was really comfortable with him and the office.  I've started the rounds of specialists and had some questions.  I e-mailed the office and got a reply within what seemed like minutes.  Very wonderful, caring group.   Glad to hear that all the surgeries have gone well with everyone. 

I found Dr. JB on this board last August while I was researching and interviewing surgeons for RNY. He was new to the area and had excellent credentials as well as a wonderful bedside manner...I was impressed with him as well as his staff and his comprehensive program. For me having a surgeon close by and right on hospital premises was also important! He also attended the support groups, although now they are run by the office staff, he makes an occasional appearance which is rare but very welcome! Muhlenberg is a wonderful facility and the surgical team is top notch. If you want your hand held you have come to the right place!

My partner Jerry and I are also using Dr. Baptiste.  From the first day everyone has been wonderful.  Your questions get answered, the information is clear and straight forward.  We have a surgery date for October 31st.  I don't think you are going to find a more informed supportive and caring team in New Jersey.  The Dr. was straight forward. The staff is caring but I have a feeling touch when they need to be.  It you want people who are truly dedicated to the pre and post care of their patients, this practice is the one.  Doug Nixon & Jerry Gainey
