Dragged my butt back to the gym

Well after joining a gym in February and not having gone since April,I swallowed my pride and went back today. This time I hired a trainer. When I first joined the person who set up my work out gave me 3 weight machines and told me to walk 15 to 30 minutes.Rather than open my big mouth and say to someone that I was not getting anything out of it,I stopped going.Who knows maybe  she thought I'd have a heart attack if I actually worked out like everyone else.So today I was given this very fit very young girl and actually told her I'm having WLS and she gave me alot to do.Amazingly, she made feel very comfortable,I was afraid a trainer would be stuckup and think I was taking the "easy" way out.I have another appointment with her next week so I have to make sure I get my butt in there the rest of this week so she'll see some improvement.Working out makes us feel so much better I can't wait to have my surgery and then it will really start making a huge difference.

JoviGirl, Congratulations!!!  That GREAT, what a great step  you made today.  I finally got my @$$ off the chair and walked with a friend, we walked 1 1/2 miles and I did feel so much better.  Keep up the great work and I'll be looking for updates Doris

I also had a trainer who made me feel very comfortable.  They are there to support and help you.  Good luck and have fun working out.
